I was commissioned to design and paint shop fronts for Dudes Modern Barbers at three locations in Plymouth: Stoke Village, North Hill and Laira.  They wanted a bright and colourful, tropical ‘surf’ theme.

The shop front on North Hill …

Because of the position the work needed to be in, I couldn’t simply paint directly onto the wall, so I built a frame to hold three 8ft x 4ft boards together before painting and wall mounting:

I also painted a scene on the back wall inside the salon:
